Kantorai is the 9th grade womens choir where the training begins

Our 9th grade girl's chorus, Kantorai - with a total of 47 girls, sold 311 coupon booklets during the first chorus fundraiser of the year. This total brought in $3,732.00, a profit of $1,866.00 for the choral music program, $1,866.00 that will trickle into and be placed into individual accounts based on amounts raised by students. This total equaled more than the other two girls choruses, Select and Bel Cantos, combined - 79 sophomores, juniors and seniors. Opus One sold as a part of Select and Camerata. Select Women sold a total of 216 booklets. Bel Cantos sold 176 booklets while 26 Camerata boys sold 85 booklets. Total booklets sold during the sales drive was 799 - profitting $4,798.50, half of which went into student accounts according to individual sales. The Grand Champion salesperson was freshman Jessica Gunn who sold 33 booklets and won a cash prize of $50. Second place and $30 went to sophomore Sydney Miller with sales of 31 bookets. Juniors Ashley Bagby and Jillian Roy each sold 30 booklets and earned $20 each.
