The Niceville High School Chorus Boosters Association will hold it's monthly meeting this Thursday evening, October 27 in the chorus room beginning at 6:30 PM. Other agenda items include updates of the all-state chorus auditions and the spring trip. The holiday concert and the Grand Staff Fun Run scheduled for January will also be updated. Holiday Concert Tickets

Reserved seating is on sale to the general public. Tickets are all $15.00 each. So, if you purchase tickets, you will have a reserved seat for the concert and do not have to scurry to the concert and fight for your favorite seat. This year, all tickets will be sold through the box office at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College. There are two avenues to communicate with the box office. You can call them at 850 729-6000 or you may visit their website at http://www.mattiekellyartscenter.org. Sponsorship

The Niceville Choral Boosters Association meet the last Thursday of each month, with the exception of December and May, at 6:30 p.m. Our meetings last about an hour and usually include a tasty snack supplied by our Special Events committee.  All parents are invited to attend.  Parents are reminded that they are automatically members of the CBA.  Friends, patrons and other community members who are not parents or guardians of a chorus student may petition President, Ken Pickler, for membership.

Welcome to the Niceville High School Choral Music Program and our Choral Boosters Association. Our Choral Director, Michael Dye and assistant, Jennifer Vest are two of the most dedicated individuals you and your student(s) will have the pleasure of working with during their music career.

Our Booster organization is very active in the daily activities of the choral music department. The goal and purpose of our organization is to help build, develop, support and maintain our music program in every way possible. We accomplish these goals with the dedication and support of you, our Booster members. Our members help by chaperoning events and performances throughout the season such as our annual Holiday Concert at NWFSC; manning special events like our annual Potluck Dinner at the beginning of each school year, helping distribute tickets to our various events – Holiday and Spring Concerts; helping with measurements and distribution of uniforms; and fundraising which is an ongoing process throughout the school year each and every year.

We are always receptive to new and exciting ideas to help achieve our goals and you are invited! Please let us know your special talents, experiences and/or associations.

We hope you will join us by becoming an active member – we have many and varied opportunities. For more information contact our President Ken Pickler

About US

Our chorus treasurer has been with our choral music department for several years. Julie Burrell, whose daughter Nicole graduated a few years ago, continues to serve the association and our students. By September, as soon as she gets class rolls, she will have an account set up for every singer in the chorus. Her immaculate records will follow students all four years of their chorus careers. To contact Julie, you may e-mail her at nhschorust@aol.com.
